- Description
- This requirement consists of furnishing and installing 11 new 300 hp air compressors and associated control systems, piping, tanks, flow controller stations, oil water separators and electrical supply at Arnold AFB, TN. This procurement will also provide two new unit substations and one new motor control center. Demolition of existing systems is required, including some lead and asbestos abatement. This buy will consist of a base effort and four options. The Base segment demolishes one air compressor, one air dryer and one chiller and furnishes and installs two new air compressors and one air dryer. Option One will consist of demolition of two compressors, one air dryer, one glycol tank and one storage area and furnishes and installs one tank and one unit substation. Option Two furnishes and installs five new air compressors and three air dryers. Option Three furnishes and installs one new unit substation, and Option Four demolishes two air compressors, two dryers, and one motor control center and furnishes and installs four air compressors, two air dryers, and one motor control center. The options may be exercised over a period of as many as four years. A complete solicitation, including specifications and the proposal due date, will be posted and available for download on this site in the near future. Hard copies will not be available and requests for such will be disregarded.
