Description

Red River Army Depot intends to issue a commercial item request for proposal resulting in a requirements type contract for strip stock rubber. Contract period will be 12 monts after contract award with 2 option years. Rubber shall conform to properti es of MIL-T-11891E(AT) and MIL-DTL-3100H. Material will be produced in accordance with a compound formulation requiring the signg of non-disclosure agreement. Suppliers will submit samples for Red River Army Depot(RRAD)testing. Testing will consist of p hysical properties, TGA, and adhesion tests on a pad insert, track shoe and roadwheel. Firms interested in receiving this solicitation may download it from the RRAD website at www.redriver.army.mil. The solicitation should be available for download on or about the 26 February 2007.
