Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on a unrestricted, firm-fixed price, Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for S-Band Antennas as a component of a telemetry system for the Sidewinder Missile training rounds. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business (NAICS 334220, size standard is 750 employees). A minimum of 100 units will be ordered and a maximum of 750 units may be ordered over a five-year period of performance. The Antennas must meet the required form, fit, and function requirements for a pre-existing missile telemetry fabrication package in accordance with Specification AS-6165 "Performance Specification Naval Air Systems Command Department of the Navy Item Specification for S-Band Stripline Antenna," with exception NOR 25379.2, and Drawing 639AS9493 Rev. B "Source Control Drawing for Antenna S Band." The Antennas must operate into a nominal 50 ohm load on a specified frequency in the ultra high frequency (UHF) telemetry band from 2200 to 2260.5 MHz. The Antenna VSWR at the unconnected end of the cable shall be 1:5 to 1 maximum across the frequency band specified. Product must be qualified before contract award. The Government reserves the right to waive first article for Antennas that have previously been delivered by the offeror and accepted by the Government within the last two years. Delivery will be FOB Destination to NAWCWPNS, China Lake, CA beginning 90 days after the effective date of the delivery order at a rate no less than 20 units per month.
