Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on a unrestricted, firm-fixed price, Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for DC-DC Converters as a component of a telemetry system for the Sidewinder Missile training rounds, from vendors listed in the Qualified Manufacturer List (QML) 38534-31. A minimum of 100 units will be ordered and a maximum of 750 units may be ordered over a five-year period of performance. The DC-DC converter must meet the required form, fit, and function requirements for a pre-existing missile telemetry fabrication package in accordance with DSCC drawing number Standard Microcircuit Drawing (SMD) 5962-93074-01HXC Revision F, "Microcircuit, Hybrid, Linear, +5 and ?15-Volt, Triple Channel, DC-DC Converter." Product must be qualified before contract award. Drawing and qualification information can be found on the internet at http://www.dscc.dla.mil/Programs/MilSpec/DocSearch.asp. Maximum ratings: Input voltage range, 16-40VDC; Power dissipation, 14W, Output power 30.84W, Lead soldering temperature (10 second) +300 degrees C, Storage temperature range, -65 to +150 degrees C. Qualification will be required for all manufacturers not previously qualified, and will be at the expense of the contractor. For questions concerning qualification requirements, contact the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC). The Government reserves the right to waive first article for DC-DC converters that have previously been delivered by the offeror and accepted by the Government within the last two years. Delivery will be FOB Destination to NAWCWPNS, China Lake, CA beginning 90 days after the effective date of the delivery order at a rate no less than 20 units per month.
