- The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a contract modification on a sole source basis and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 to General Dynamics C4 Systems (GDC4S), 8201 East McDowell Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85252-1417. The purpose of this action is to extend the current terms and conditions of the Combat Operation Center (COC) System contract M67854-02-C-2052 with the prime contractor GDC4SC. This requirement includes COC AN/TSQ-239 Versions 3 and 4 systems, initial spares, consumables, and training. No request for proposal is available for competitive bidding. However, interested parties are encouraged to submit a statement of capability for satisfying this requirement. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this notice. All communications shall be in writing and will only be used to consider whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Proprietary information shall be clearly identified as such and wil l be protected. Any questions regarding this announcement or the pending solicitation need to be addressed to the contracting specialist listed in this announcement. See number note 22.
