Description

This synopsis provides notice of the Government?s intent to solicit a proposal on a sole source basis with Tactical Support Equipment, Inc., 4039 Barefoot Road, Fayetteville, NC 28306, for the items listed below. The contract type is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price commercial type contract. The Contract Line Item Numbers and descriptions are: CLIN 0001 ? 50 Watt SATCOM Amplifier, P/N: TSE-AM-SAT-50 (4 each). The program requires a high performance amplifier that can both transmit and receive signals providing extra margin to communicate in noisy environment or fringe areas. The amplifier must process the ability to be waterproof, have demand assigned multiple access and be remotely operated at a minimum of 500 feet. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Tactical Support Equipment, Inc. is the only known source capable of satisfying the Government?s minimum requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information received. Anticipated award date is 28 February 2007.
