Description

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a sole source purchase order to macs Software North America, Inc., for the purchase of mac cost management software Release 2.7 and maintenance. These services have been determined to meet the definition of commercial items in accordance with Part 2.101 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Vendors who can provide the required services at prices, terms and conditions equal to or better than those which can be provided by macs Software North America, Inc., should submit clear and convincing data in writing substantiating an ability to furnish the entire requirement. Telephonic or e-mail inquiries will not be accepted. Responses to this notice must be received by this office by February 27, 2007. Responses should be sent to: Internal Revenue Service, Office of Procurement, 6009 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745, Attn: Charisse Marshall, OS:A:P:I:F:B. Responses will be accepted by facsimile at (202)283-7031. These responses must arrive at the place and by the time specified in this synopsis and may not exceed 10 pages. The Government will not be responsible for any failure attributable to the transmission or receipt of any facsimile information. If a response is received that meets the IRS's requirements and analysis of both technical and pricing documentation indicate that a competitive acquisition would be more advantageous to the Government, a formal solicitation may be issued. Currently, no solicitation document exists for this requirement. Requests for same will be considered non-responsive. The reference number for this announcement is Q-7-QA-01-OS-A03. If no compelling responses are received, award will be made to macs Software North America, Inc.
