Description

This amendment answers the following questions. Question #1: In the scope of M/E Services under this contract section; are window fragmentations anticipated as a likely scope item? Answer: Architectural items, such as window fragmentations, may be needed in some projects depending on the size of the project; however, major architectural projects will be awarded to the A/E contract. An architectural subcontractor is necessary for the M/E contract. Question #2: For Factor 2, Specialized Experience, what type of experience should we focus on? Another way of asking this question is what types of projects will likely be performed under this contract? Answer: Common projects would include: Load calculations, HVAC calculations, Boiler/chiller replacements, major and minor electrical upgrades, and other misc mechanical/electrical projects. Question #3:Is the Arial 12Font required? Answer: It is desired that the proposal documents submitted be in Arial 12Font.
