Description: The U.S. Department of State, Office of Acquisition Management intends to issue a Sole Source Award to Militech International LLC, Sterling, VA for the acquisition of electronically fired tear gas intrusion and riot control tear gas grenades and dispensers. These grenades and dispensers currently interface with our existing equipment and Militech International has been identified as the sole distributor of this exclusive equipment. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 USC 253 c(1). The regulatory authority is FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy the agency's requirements. This is for informational purposes only.
