- The VA VISN 22 Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach California intends to enter into a sole source contract with Kimberly-Clark Health Care, 1400 Holcomb Bridge Road, Roswell, GA 30076, under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15 a justification for other than full and open competition have been prepared in support of this acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 339113 and the Small Business Standard is 500 employees. Request for Quotation is RFQ VA-600-07-RQ-0042FF. The Government intends to award a contract to purchase a Baylis Medical RF System for Pain Management for the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System. This system includes one (1) radio frequency pain management generator, RF probe kits (18G/100MM curved), RF probe kits (18G/145MM) and multi-lesion module: including upgrade to V3.0. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will consider all proposals received by 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time March 2, 2007. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
