Description
Synopsis of solicitation/tender to procure all labor, equipment and supplies(less Government Furnished Property) and management, to perform Reconstruction Security Support Services for United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) ? Gulf Region Division (GRD) and Joint Contracting Command ? Iraq (JCCI) in Iraq. The contractor shall provide the USACE and JCCI with: 1) Reconstruction Operations Centers Operations- Operate Reconstruction Operations Centers (ROC) located throughout Iraq which provide support to the Iraqi Government, Chief of Mission, Multi-National Force-Iraq and all organizations involved in the reconstruction of Iraq 2) Security Services ? Provide static guard services for protection of facilities and personnel in Iraq. 3) Reconstruction Liaison Teams (RLTs) - Report on physical facilities and construction status, provide community information. 4) Vetting Program Services? Provide background checks for all local hires identified by the GRD/JCCI as prospective employees. 5) Security Escort Teams - Provide secure transportation of personnel traveling to and from project worksites. The contractor must be registered and licensed with the Government of Iraq (GOI) and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) to provide services. The contractor must comply with all laws, regulations, policies and procedures for performing personal security services in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. Services will be performed throughout the Republic of Iraq. Anticipate awarding an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for Time and Materials type task orders. Period for ordering services will be 12 months with one option for an additional 12 months. Total maximum period of performance of task orders will be 36 months.
