Description
UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SEEKS LEASED LIGHT INDUSTRIAL SPACE ALPENA, MICHIGAN The United States Government seeks to lease mixed office and support Space for a working Coast Guard Station consisting of approximately 5,060 rentable square feet on a fenced site, near waterfront, consisting of at least ? acre in Alpena, Michigan. The Government will require on-site parking for ten (10) automobiles and one truck towing a 35? long boat trailer. In addition, there are the following mooring requirements: ? Small boat mooring requires a 50? long and 3? wide floating dock. ? The boat slip shall be a minimum of 13? in width, wit a minimum of 4? in water depth. The mooring shall not be located such that a bridge or other obstacle must be opened to access Thunder Bay. Moorings must have 24 hour access, and be fenced and well lit for security and property definition. 115 volt, 15 amp, single-phase, GFCI electrical shore-tie and fresh water hose shall be provided. ? Garage; 45? x 15?. The building(s) must be located within the following delineated area: North: East Oldfield Street South: Prentiss Street East: Lake Huron West: S-N 2nd Avenue The building(s) site must be within a five minute walk to the mooring location. This time shall include the maximum time expected for traffic/pedestrian lights. No bridge openings shall be located between the two locations. The building(s)/parking site must also have 24hour access and be well lit for security and property definition. The proposed lease is for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm, and should be fully serviced. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than July 1, 2008. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire and Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. Consideration shall be based on the area profile, location, and proposed security precautions if the location would be utilized.
