Description
NASA/HQ is hereby soliciting information about potential sources for preparing and conducting on-site compliance reviews, pursuant to Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504), as amended, and the Age Discrimination Act of 1975. The contractor will be supporting NASA extensively in conducting the Section 504/Age Discrimination Act compliance reviews on institutions receiving NASA financial assistance. Services include but are not limited to: Provide expertise and knowledge to NASA on Section 504 and Age Discrimination Act compliance, particularly regarding regulatory provisions pursuant to these laws. Review and analyze information, statistical data, and other materials provided by the subject institution in response to NASA?s information request(s). Review and analyze specific compliance information. Participate in on-site interviews, conduct on-site examination of architectural/facilities accessibility and pertinent records; brief NASA on findings and concerns following on-site visits. Analyze and synthesize data gathered from information requests. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service. It is the potential offeror?s responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. Interested offerors/vendors having the required specialized capabilities to meet the above requirement should submit a capability statement of 10 pages or less indicating the ability to perform all aspects of the effort described herein. Responses must include whether they are large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, and/or woman-owned business. All questions should be in writing and directed to the POC listed below. Please advise if the requirement is considered to be a commercial or commercial-type product. A commercial item is defined in FAR 2.101. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resultant solicitation for the requirement. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business or 8(a) set-aside based on responses hereto. All responses shall be submitted to Michael Levy no later than February 27, 2007.
