Description

U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting with Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation, One Hamilton Road, Windsor Locks CT, 06096-1010 for Automatic Flight Control Computers (AFCC), P/N 1200100-2-000 for the System Development and Demonstration on the MH-60M aircraft fielded for USSOCOM. The proposed action is for an item that Hamilton Sundstrand Corp. has designed, developed, manufactured this item and the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. Firms that feel they can provide this item or equal are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal, however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date (in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The estimated release date of the solicitation is 27 February 2007. You may request a copy via e-mail to awatson@tapo.eustis.army.mil. The purchase will be FOB Origin as a commercial buy under FAR Part 12. See Note 22.
