Description

For the procurement of Haworth office furniture for AFRL VACA, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. NAICS Code 334512, and Size Standard 500. This is a Sole Source procurement. Synopsis published for informational purposes only. Solicitation documents are not available. This proposed contract action is for procurement of a service for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. The proposed source is Elements IV 3680 WYSE RD DAYTON OH 45414-2539. The Sole Source decision is predicated on the understanding that Element IV is the only prefered Haworth dealer in the Dayton area. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the government will consider all responses received within three (3) days of the issuance of this notice (by COB Feb 26, 2007). A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
