Description

1005-01-522-0768, Part Number 13001495. This requirement is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSBs) Set-Aside. The item being procured is a Detent Cap for the M240H Machine Gun. The Detent Cap is made from steel composition 4340, 4140 or 4130 per ASTM A108. Overall length is .46 inches; outside diameter is .31 inches; inside diameter thru is .157 inches; c'bore diameter is .218 inches for depth of .23 inches. Heavy Phosphate Coating MIL-DTL-16232 is required. Requirements are for a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quality (IDIQ) contract with a guaranteed minimum quantity of 1,500 each. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 21 Mar 2007. The above listed response due date is only an estimate. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that will be posted with the solicitation once the solicitation is issued. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list.
