The following assumptions apply: FEMA estimates a total of 37 temporary housing units. FEMA intends to aggressively work with applicants to return them to their original dwellings, to find alternate housing solutions or transfer the ownership of temporary housing unit to other parties through sales or donations. FEMA predicts that approximately half of the units (19) will be deactivated using CLIN 1100 and that the remaining units will be sold or donated during the first six (6) months of the contract. FEMA reserves the right to issue additional task orders for continued services within the scope of the contract. CLINs 500, 600 and 700 shall be performed on each unit in the field each month. It is FEMA?s intent to negotiate CLINs 800, 1000 and 1600 on a task order basis when, if needed. CLIN 800: It is assumed that ten percent (10%) of the units will require major repairs during the life of the contract. CLIN 1000: It is assumed that there is a nominal need for miscellaneous repairs. CLIN 900: It is assumed that twenty percent (20%) of the units will require an emergency repair during the life of the contract. CLIN 1200: It is assumed that ten percent (10%) of the total number of units installed will need to be temporarily deactivated during the life of the contract. This normally is associated with demolition of an adjacent damaged structure. Unit deactivation assumes all units will be deactivated during the life of the contract.
