- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking competent and qualifed contractors to provide labor, equipment, tools, supplies and materials for the installation of a Rooftop HVAC System and Roof Replacement at the TETERBORO AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL TOWER located at 225 Fred Wehran Drive, Teterboro NJ. The performance time is one hundred twenty (120) calendar days with a tentative construction start date of April 1, 2007. A PAYMENT BOND in an amount equal to 50% of the contract price is required. Insurance requirements at Teterboro Airport are $2,000,000. Additionally companies must have at least five (5) years experience in HVAC System installs and roof replacment services. Companies that qualify may request a copy of the Screeing Information Request (solicitation). Due to a TIME RESTRAINT, ALL FAX REQUESTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 4:00 P.M., EASTERN STANDARD TIME, MARCH 2, 2007. REQUESTS SHALL BE FAXED TO 718-995-5685, Attn: Maria Rosu, no phone requests will be accepted. Apollo HVAC Corp., Wilgro Services Inc., Temptrol Corp., and Iron Eagle Services have been indentified and are capable of satisfying this requirement and will be provided a copy of the SIR. Additionally, SIX (6) copies of the SIR are available to interested companies. Requests for the solicitation will be controlled based on the time and date as is appears on the fax request. Requestes received after the limit has been reached will not receive a response from the Government. A MANDATORY PRE-PROPOSAL SITE VISIT CONFERENCE has been scheduled for MARCH 14, 2007 @ 10:00 A.M. ONLY THOSE OFFERORS WHO RECEIVE THE SOLICITATION WILL BE PERMITTED AT THE CONFERENCE. Offers will be accepted from only those contractors who have attended the pre-proposal site-visit conference to assure a full understanding of the FAA's requirements. Evaluation of proposals to this SIR will rely heavily on PAST PERFORMANCE AND FINANCIAL CAPABILITY. The Government will award to the technically acceptable offeror who is determined to be responsible and whose proposal conforms to all requirements of the SIR, has Acceptable Past Performance, Relevant Experience and offers the lowest evaluated fair price. Technically acceptable is defined as proposals that meet or exceed all requirements of the SIR and demonstrate technical ability to perform requirements of the specifications.
