- DESC: 1240-01-M28-4249, Part Number 13015003. The item to procure is a Quick Release Support Assembly. The proposed acquisition is 100% Small Business set aside. Requirements are 250 each, Quick release Support Element, with two 100% options. FOB is destination. First Article Tests are required in 90 days with delivery 150 days after award. Delivery without First Article test is 120 days after award. This item is used on M187A1 Telescope Mount and Quadrant and consists of: the Support made from Alum inum Alloy Investment Casting 355 or 356, UNS A03550 or UNS A03560, Temper T6 per ASTM B618. After casting it then has surfaces that need to be machined. There are holes that need to be perpendicular and in positional location within .001 as well as a m achined flat surface that needs to be flat and perpendicular within .001 and also a hole with a parallel requirement to within .0005 . The overall dimensions are 5.640 x 4.265 x 3.520 . (2) Quick Release Handles (one left configuration, one right confi guration) made from Steel, Corrosion Resistant, Investment Castings, UNS J91651, Annealed per SAE AMS 5353 to 40-44 Rockwell C. These handles have post casting machining with positional requirements as tight as .004 on diameters and slots. The overall d imensions are roughly .315 x 3.50 x 2.50 . (2) Keys made of Free-Machining Stainless Steel, UNS S30300 or S30323, Condition A, per ASTM A 581/A 581M or ASTM A 582/A 582M. The key is machined to tolerances as tight as .0005 . The overall dimensions are .594 x .312 x .350 . (2) Spring Plungers made of Stainless Steel 300 Series; suggested source of supply on print for Spring Plunger. (2) Belleville Disc Spring made of Stainless Steel 302 Series; suggested source of supply on print for Belleville Disc Spring. (2) Set Screw made from Stainless Steel 18-8, Coarse Thread with a Brass Tip 360; suggested source of supply on print for Set Screw. The assembly also includes various screws and washers to be procured in accordance with their corresponding MS specifications. Estimated issue date is 12 March 2007. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
