- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS OR DRAWINGS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. The tracking number for this announcement is W912DR-07-S-0010. The NAICS code for this proposed acquisition i s 221310 (Water Supply and Irrigation Systems) and 221410 Waste Water (Sewage Treatment Facilities). The Government may use responses to this SOURCES SOUGHT synopsis to make appropriate acquisition decisions regarding the type of procurement to be utilize d to obtain the services. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District is soliciting a capability statement from all Indian tribe 8(a) certified firms, Alaskan Native Corporation (ANC) 8(a) certified firms and Native Hawaiian Organization-Owned Conc ern 8(a) certified firms to provide safe, secure, and reliable operation and maintenance of the Fort Meade complete potable water distribution and treatment system and the wastewater collection transfer and treatment utility system. Fort George G. Meade i s located in Maryland, between Baltimore and Washington DC. Work consists of providing all services, materials, supplies, supervision, labor, and equipment to operate and maintain both the water and the waste water plants and associated utilities. The Go vernment invites all Indian tribe, ANC and Native Hawaiian Organization-Owned 8(a) certified contractors with the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements to submit Capability Statements consisting of: 1) Firms name, address, point of contact, telephone & fax numbers; 2) Servicing SBA office, local representative, telephone number and email address; 3) Projects that have been completed including the name of the project, point of contact with phone number for the owner of the projec t, the project duration dates, the final contract value and a short description of your role and work performed (less than 200 words). We are interested only in projects that contained operation and maintenance of water and waste water treatment facilitie s. The Capabilities Statement for this Sources Sought is not considered to be a proposal, but rather a statement regarding your ability to demonstrate existing or developed expertise and experience in relation to the proposed contract. Existing marketing material may also be submitted with the Capabilities Statement. The submission of a Capabilities Statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation may assist the Corps in determining acquisition method. This synopsis i s for information and planning purposes only and is neither to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents WILL NOT be notified of the results of the evaluation.
