Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District intends to issue an Invitation for Bidding (IFB) to award a contract for construction of Water Supply Station Irrigation Zone control system and replacement of 37 water valves. The new supply stati on will consist of a new 600 gallon per minute well and a control building hosting a variable speed motor and analog controls. The supply station will be served by constructing an extension of primary electric service and connecting to a new service trans former. As part of the construction of irrigation zone control system project is to prepare site and installation of automatic site irrigation system section (41, 44 and 29). Location is Veteran Administration Calverton Cemetery, Calverton, New York. No award will be made unless Small Business Sub-Contracting Plan is accepted and approved. The Plan must address maximum efforts to utilize Small Business, Woman Owned S.B, Hub zone S.B, Veteran Owned S.B, and Disabled Veteran Owned S.B. The duration of th is project is approximately 365 calendar days, including optional Items. This procurement is being solicited as UNRESTRICTED. The applicable NAICS CODE IS 237990 with a Small Business Size of $31.0 Million. The SIC CODE is 1629. The estimated cost rang e for this project is between $1,000,000.00 - $5,000,000.00. Bid Opening date is o n or about 4 April 2007 at 2:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time). Bid opening will be held in room 1841 of 26 Federal Plaza, New York, New York 10278. The media selected for issuance of the synopsis/solicitation and amendments shall solely be at the discretion of the Government; accordingly, the media utilized for this project shall be the Internet and CD-ROM.
