Description

Furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to construct approximately 650 feet of gravel accessible walking trail, 8 feet wide; 6 concrete pads ranging in size from 5 feet by 10 feet to 5.5 feet by 6 feet for interpretive sign bases; approximately 132 feet of adjoining sidewalk; and 34 feet of concrete curb and gutter at the worksite located at the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument Interpretive Center, Choteau County, Fort Benton, Montana. The contractor shall have approximately 50 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed to complete the work. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment protection will be due PRIOR to issuance of the Notice to Proceed and can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. Prospective contractors shall have a Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number and must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) to be considered for a government award. CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov and ORCA registration at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation will be posted March 9, 2007. Response date for quotes will be on or about April 2, 2007. A tentative site visit is scheduled for the week of March 19, 2007. A firm date, time, and place will be cited in Section L of the specifications. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office but will be available on the website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov.
