Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intend to negotiate a noncompetitive contract with Sun South LLC. This procurement is for a 4 row John Deere, 1700 Integral Planter (Max Emerge) on 36 inch row spacing. A determination not to compete this proposed contract has been made Pursuant to 41 U.S. C. 253(c)(1), as implemented by 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), this requirement has been justified and approved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any other interested organizations must submit a written proposal to the person of contact as soon as possible, but not later than 4:00 p.m. local time on 02/28/2007. Faxed proposals are acceptable, but the senders bear full responsibility to ensure complete transmission and timely receipt. All inquires and concerns must be addressed in writing to this facsimile number (404)679-4057, Attn: Frances Brown. Any such proposals received by the deadline will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
