Description
1. Amendment 0004 is hereby incorporated into Request for Quote (RFQ) number W912JF-07-T-0004 and shall become a part of any resultant contract. 2. The questions and answers were either submitted prior to or during the site visit. Question: What is the procurement history for components depicted in the solicitation cited above? We would like to know the name of the supplier, the quantity of each item, unit price, total price, and date of contract award. Answer: We have no history for these specific requirements. C&P did provide the smaller heavy lifter deflector for $550 each on April 13, 2005. Question: What are the handle requirements? Answer: Handles are required only on Line 0001 on the inside of the plates. Two handles will be on the front and side plates. Question: How does the Government plan to use the plates on Line 0002 and Line 0003? Answer: Government will use the plates to protect the base of the running man. Eight (8) plates (Line 0002) will be lined up with approximately a 2 inch overlap in front of the running man. Plates will be free standing with the 21 degree brackets. A free standing plate (Line 0003) will be placed on each end. Plate will have a 2 inch lip to over lap on the front plate. No tabs and handles are required Line 0002 and Line 0003. Question: Since Line 0001 will be used to protect a heavy lifter, what are the diminsions of the heavy lifter? Answer: 75 inches wide and 36 inches long 3. The following is to clarify or amend the requirements for this combined Synopsis Solicitation based the site visit conducted on February 22, 2007. a. All plates shall have ground smooth edge. b. All plates will be 33 inches high and configured to a 21 degree angle. c. Line 0003 will consist of 6 plates with a two inch lip on the right side and 6 plates with a two inch lip on the left. d. The selected contractor will be required to provide a template of Line 0001, Line 0002, and Line 0003 (Right and Left) after the award and prior to manufacturing. e. Plates will be delivered to the range located at Highway 10 and Lonestar Road (10 miles outside Fort Smith, AR). Plates must be delivered on vehicle capable of being downloaded with a forklift. Contract shall coordinate with Government for the delivery to assure resources are available to handle the delivery. 4. The closing date for submission of offers will remain as March 7, 2007 at 10:00 AM CST. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (23-FEB-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
