Description

This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a proposed procurement announcement only. Proposals are not being requested a nd a written solicitation will not be issued. The Southern Region Contracting Center-West, Fort Sam Houston,Tx intends to issue a sole source firm fixed priced purchase order to Alamo Integrated Systems, 2805 S. W. Loop 410, San Antonio, Texas. This purcha se order is for the upgrade of the existing security system at Building 2792, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Work to be performed by the contractor includes the integration of new equipment/hardware to the existing Identificard Access Control System, Nice System s Digital Video Recorders, American Dynamics Matrix Switchers, and Alamo Integrated Systems Console software. This is sole-source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561621 and the Small Business Standard is $11.5 million.
