- NAICS Code: 516110 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Climate Protection Partnerships Division (CPPD) in Washington, DC intends to award a Purchase Order to E Source Companies, LLC, of Boulder, CO under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The purpose of this commercial purchase is to secure up-to-date, unbiased information services for the retail energy markets, services, and technologies. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 516110. NO SOLICITATIONS OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. E Source provides information on developments in the energy services marketplace, sorting through volumes of information in order to provide concise strategic insights and in-depth technology assessments. In addition, E Source also possesses unique associations with both energy service providers and corporate energy users, giving them a broad, multi-faceted perspective. It has been determined that E Source Companies, LLC, in addition to the above-mentioned reasons, is uniquely qualified to satisfy the Government's requirement as they are the only provider of this detailed type of technical information services in the areas of utility, green power and the small, to mid-sized business sectors. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received by the response date of this announcement may be considered. Responses to posting must be in writing and submitted to Nicole Humphrey, Contract Specialist at humphrey.nicole@epa.gov by 1:00 PM/EST on March 7, 2007. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
