Description: The US Coast Guard is seeking a vendor to provide seasonal lifeguard and management,services, e.g. water treatments, for an outdoor pool facility located in Portsmouth, VA. Vendor to open (5/21/07) and close (11/9/07) pool before/after the pool season; staff pool during the swimming season (6/11-8/26/07). This is a labor weighted contract; pool chemicals will be provided by the Coast Guard. Estimated swim season operating hours: 571 hours. Estimated life guard hours: 1404 hours.
