Description

Sources are sought for design services to furnish complete construction documents (plans and specifications) and construction period services for Project 573A4-07-104, "O.R. Humidity/Sanitary Sewer Study", at the VA Medical Center, Lake City, Florida. The A/E firm selected for the design will be required to perform all necessary site survey work, such as verifying record drawings and existing asbestos survey reports. Firms should have the capability of producing construction drawings on a computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) system and furnish VA with a CD containing such drawings at construction completion. Selection will be based upon recent specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required, professional capacity to accomplish work, professional qualifications of staff and consultants assigned to project, past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry, in terms of cost control, quality of work, compliance with performance scheduled , and other appropriate evaluation criteria. Consideration is limited to concerns located within a 200-mile radius of Lake City, FL and are classified as an EMERGING SMALL BUSINESS. An emerging small business concern for purposes of this solicitation is defined as a firm whose average annual receipts for the past three years does not exceed $2 million. Firms desiring consideration should submit a completed copy of form SF-330 by close of business 3/15/07. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THERE ARE NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS AVAILABLE.
