Description
The US Army Heritage and Education Center at Carlisle Barracks, Carlisle, Pennsylvania seeks to purchase a World War II era engineer motorized general purpose repair shop truck. The truck must be in exhibit condition including tool load, tires, pain t, and markings and additionally meet the following technical requirements: - Vehicle must be in good condition, and must have all fluids removed and prepared for display per Army Regulations - Vehicles serial, contract numbers and data plates must match those that were issued to the US Army. - There should be little visible sign of excessive wear and tear. Paint color and insignia should match Shop, Engineer Motorized General Purpose Repair Trucks that saw service in the US Army European Theater of Operation. - Vehicle must have all original canvas (or 75%) or vehicle must have 10% original canvas and the remaining required canvas must be authentic in appearance for the time period. - Machine shop equipment loaded on the back must be 100% original to the time period specified. - Vehicle equipment needs to be a minimum of 75 % complete (major end items) - Vehicle must be equipped with an Acetylene Generator - Vehicle must be equipped with front bumper mounted winch and derrick boom package in operable and exhibit condition - Vehicle must be equipped with a twin wheel bench grinder - Vehicle must be equipped with a 3KW generator - Vehicle should have 40-50% of original hand tools. - Shop body should be mounted on a 2 ? ton 6x6 truck of the type used during the time period specified - Shop body should contain 75% of the shop bench and shelf fixtures including heater and be in exhibit condition All proposals need to provide documentation and photos showing tools and equipment for proposal evaluation. FOB destination is Carlisle Barracks, PA. All offerors must be CCR registered to be eligible for contract award. The NAICS code for this procurement is 712110. The size standard is $6.5 Million. This procurement is set-aside 100% for small business. See nu mbered note #1. The method that will be utilized to evaluate proposals is LPTA (lowest-price, technically acceptable).
