Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement con stitutes the only solicitation: quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) number W53W9LCRANE001. IAW FAR 52.219-6, this requirement is 100% Set Aside for Small Business Conc erns. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-13. The Standard Industrial Class is 3562; NAICS is 332991; Small Business Standard is 750 employees: Any resultant cont ract shall be Firm-Fixed Price, and one award is anticipated. IAW FAR 52.247-34, shipping is FOB Destination; Inspection and Acceptance is at Destination, 15 days for Inspection/Acceptance; Crane Army Ammunition Activity Receiving Bldg 148, Crane, IN 4752 2. A Material Certification is required; contractors quote shall include a Material Certification to the following Military Standard: Ball Bearings, Steel Ball, .125 inch diameter, Grade 10; Certify to Military Standard (MS) 19060-1008 US-1000 per package , total packages, 4,400; total requirement quantity, 4,400,000 ea. Package in accordance with ASTM D 3951-98 (Reapproved 2004). Desired Delivery is 6 Jun 2007. Partial shipments are allowed. A Material Certification and Certificate of Conformance (COC) a re required as a condition of inspection and acceptance. Shipment must include an original invoice, and packing slip as well. Any exception to the standard must be called out in the quote. The following FAR clauses and provisions apply to this acquisition: Offerors must comply with the following commercial item terms and conditions: FAR 52.212-2 INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS: Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
