- Description
- Barksdale AFB, LA has a requirement for hotel rooms for 917th personnel during Unit Training Assembly (UTA) weekends. Lodging accomodations will be procured for a specified number of rooms for one weekend a month (Friday and Saturday night). The type of rooms required are single or double occupancy and they shall be non-smoking. The lodging facility shall be located within an 8-mile driving distance to Barksdale Air Force Base. The government will use http://local.live.com to determine the distance of the lodging facility to Barksdale Air Force Base. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code). The proposed acquisition will be for a basic period of 12 months with a one-year option period. It will be set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 721110 with a corresponding small business size standard of $6.5M. It is anticipated that a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract will be awarded. The proposals will be evaluated based on lowest price and technical acceptability. Technical acceptability will be determined by inspection of the lodging facility prior to award in accordance with the Performance-Based Work Statement (PWS). Multiple awards are expected. This is not a solicitation. The solicitation will be posted electronically to FedBizOps at http://www.fbo.gov, on or about 13 April 2007. No hard copies will be provided. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents.
