Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Patches BPA is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This acquisition is for the purchase of the following items: 0001 1 Each ISAF Patch; 3 1/4 inch L x 2 inch W; Pictures available upon request. Other patches, and pricing, will be added to Blanket Purchase Agreement as requirement occurs. One (1) sample patch must be provided and must be received at the Bagram Contracting Office by the solicitation due date. Items will be delivered to Bagram Joint Contracting Cell, Bldg. 90, Attn: SrA Ryan Battad, APO AE, 09354. Basis for award: At least Two (2) Blanket Purchase Agreements will be established as a result of this solicitation. The following evaluation criteria will be considered when determining who will be offered a BPA in response to this RFQ: Price, ability to deliver 30,000 patches within 15 days of order and planned utilization and training of, transfer of knowledge, skills and abilities to the Afghan workforce. All offers must be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. Kabul local time/12:00 p.m. GMT/8:00 a.m. EST, on Monday, 12 March 2007.
