- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The subject solicitation, W15P7T-07-Q-L423, is a limited source acquisition for the procurement of fifty-one (51) Waveguides (NSN: 5985-01-437-4022) with an option up to 100% to Microtech Inc. and Harris Corporation. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Delivery will be FOB Destination and Inspection and Acceptance will be at Source. The delivery schedule is as follows: ten (10) each Waveguides at 120 days after contract award, and then ten (10) each per month for every month thereafter, until order completion. Packaging requirements are as follows: Standard Commercial Packaging. PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES applicable to this acquisition are as follows: FAR 52.212- 1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, no addenda included; FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, proposal shall include a completed copy of this provision; FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commerci al Items, no addenda included; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items; DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items; FAR 52.227-01 Authorization and Consent; FAR 52.227-02 Notice and Assistance Regarding Patent and Copyright Infringement; FAR 52.227-03 Patent Indemnity. Offerors are requested to provide quotes for Contract Lin e Item 0001AA: 40 Waveguides (NSN: 5985-01-437-4022) and Contract Line Item 0002AA ( Up to a 100% option that may be exercised at the Governments discretion up to 30 days prior to delivery order completion).
