Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number W91248-07-Q-0004 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquis ition Circular 05-15, dated 13 February 2007. NAICS is 561730; business size is $6.5M; acquisition is 100% setaside for HUBZone business. Description of Services: Line Item 0001, Level I: Maintain grass at 1-1/2 inches to 3 inches Height Cut (includes all vegetation trimming and removal IAW Vegetation Maintenance, paragraph 1.1.2) Total estimated acreage for this level is 320 acres, of whic h 223 acres consist of grass. Locations: High visibility areas as indicated. Child care centers to be mowed on Saturdays only; 3 Months; Line Item 0002, Level II: Maintain grass at cut 2 inches to 5 inches Height cut (includes all vegetation trimming/rem oval IAW Vegetation Maintenance, Paragraph 1.1.2). Total estimated acreage for this level is 1960 acres, of which 1713 acres consist of grass. Locations: Inside Fort Campbell Cantonment Area, 3 Months; Line Item 0003, Level III, Airfield and Vicinity, See Line Items 0003AA and 0003AB; Line Item 0003AA, Level III: Maintain grass at cut 2 inches to 5 inches Height, this includes a 3 ft. diameter around Taxiway Lighting which shall be maintained at 1 ? inches Height Cut (Includes all vegetation trimming / rem oval IAW Vegetation Maintenance, paragraph 1.1.2), total estimated acreage for this level is 1083, of which 850 acres consists of grass; Location: Airfield and Vicinity, 3 Months; Line Item 0003AB, Level III: Cut grass at 7 inches to 14 inches Height Cut, (Includes all vegetation trimming / removal IAW Vegetation Maintenance, paragraph 1.1.2), total estimated acreage for this level is 1015 Acres of Grass, Location: Airfield and Vicinity, 1 Each; Line Item 0004, Level IV: Cut grass to a minimum height of 8 inches, cutting shall be performed during the period of 15 May 07  30 June 07, (includes all vegetation trimming / removal IAW Vegetation Maintenance, paragraph 1.1.2) Total estimated acreage for this level is 829 acres, of which 829 acres consists of g rass. Locations: Back Area Road and Road Shoulders, 1 Each. Line Item 0005, Level V: Cut grass to a minimum height of 8 inches. Locations: Closed Landfills, total estimated acreage for this level is 280 acres, of which 280 consists of grass, 1 Each; Line Item 0006, Cemetries, Cut grass at 4 inches to 6 inches Height within fence/gravel area and cut grass at a 8 inches to 10 inches cut outside of fence/gravel area to road (includes all vegetation trimming / removal IAW Vegetation Maintenance, paragraph 1.1. 2). Locations: 119 Cemeteries; 1 Each; Line Item 0007, Maintain grass between 1 inches and 1-1/2 inches Height Cut (includes all vegetation trimming / removal IAW Vegetation Maintenance, paragraph 1.1.2). Total estimated acreage for this level is 29 acre s of grass, Locations: Parade Field; 3 Months; Line Item 0008, Special Events Mowing / emergency mowing as requested by the Government. Cut grass at a level requested (Level I, II, III, IV, or V) to include all vegetation trimming / removal IAW Vegetation Maintenance, paragraph 1.1.2., Locations: As indicated on the delivery order; 150 Acres (estimated); Line Item 0009: Kyle Lake: Cut grass to a 3 inches to 6 inches Height cut (includes all vegetation trimming / removal IAW Vegetation Maintenance, paragrap h 1.1.2). Total estimated acreage for this level is 30 acres, of which 30 acres consists of grass. Locations: Kyle Lake, 2 Each. Multiple awards are contemplated from this requirement. Offerors can elect to bid on all or some of the line items. Offeror s that qualify offer: as all or none, shall be considered nonresponsive. Selection of contractor will be made using the lowest price technically acceptable source selection process. Technical Information (Equipment Listing and Plan of Action) must be submitted with pr oposal. Contractors technical capability will be evaluated by reviewing proposed: Equipment List and Plan of Action, to perform services. The proposed Period of Performance for any resulting contract will be for an estimated 3 Months. Offers are due no t later than 19 March 2007, 1:00 PM CST.
