- 1. Amendment 0005 is hereby incorporated into Request for Quote (RFQ) number W912JF-07-T-0004 and shall become a part of any resultant contract. 2. The answers and clarifications are for questions that were submitted after the site visit. Question: How are offers to be submitted? Please indicate email addresses and Fax Numbers. Answer: Quotes need to be submitted by line item with specifications including drawings with relevant information (i.e. dimensions, type of metal, thickness, delivery date) so that the quote may be compared to the specifications. Please refer to the Solici tation, Amendments, and clauses for additional instructions including email and fax information. Question: May the public attend the bid opening; If so, what is the criterion? Answer: There will be no public bid opening. The selected contractor will be publicized with the award amount. Question: May offers include a request that the contract awarded include a provision for a First Article of CLINs, 001, 002, and 003 be submitted for approval prior to full scale production? The First Article to be examined by the Government. When Gover nment technical criterion is met and approved, full production to commence. Will offers submitted with this request be considered as responsive? Answer: Additional requirements submitted by the contractor will be considered non responsive. Please refer to the original solicitation and amendments for requirements and clarifications. As stated in Amendment 4 the selected contractor will be require d to provide a template of Line 0001, Line 0002, and Line 0003 (Right and Left) after the award and prior to manufacturing . Government will approve the templates prior to production. Templates will be required immediately after the award. Question: Will offers requesting Progress Payments be considered as non-responsive? Answer: The requested delivery date for this requirement is 60 days from the award date. Progress payments were not considered based on the delivery requirements. Additional requirements submitted by the contractor will be considered non responsive. Question: Please identify the companies, addresses, and representatives that attended the site visit. Answer: Eric Thompson from Fabrication for Defense and Commercial Industries, Gretna, LA; Mike Adkisson from Falcon International, Huntsville, AL; Brent Callahan from C&P Manufacturing, Inc., Sallisaw, OK. 3. The closing date for submission of offers will remain as March 7, 2007 at 10:00 AM CST.
