Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S .Army Technology Applications Office has a requirement for the following  Offerors must state with their offer how soon delivery will be made after award. No substitutions are allowed. Item 0001, 172 each, P/N: Sony Vaio VGN-UX280P, MICRO PC; Item 0002, 172 each, P/N: VGP-UVC100, Sony Vaio USB CAMERA/MICROPHONE; Item 0003, 172 each, VGP-PRUX1, Sony Vaio PORT REPLICATOR; Item 0004, 95 each, P/N: FA635A#ABA, Hewlett Packard IPAQ H W6515 with Camera and SIM; Item 0005, 95 each, P/N: HPSD2GBL, Hewlett Packard 2GB SD Flash Memory Card. Item 0006, 95 each, AmbiCom WL11-SD, 802.11 SD Card Wireless Adapter. No substitutions are permitted. Immediate Delivery Is Requested. Pricing should be FOB destination to Lexington, KY. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for Small Business. Responses must contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. The Request for Quotation numb er is W904TE-07-Q-7502. The NAICS code is 423430 and the small business size requirement is 100 employees. The FAR provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items applies. 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items applies. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items and the clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offers will be evaluated on a basis of best value including cost, ability to deliver immediately after award, technical acceptance and performance risk assessment.
