- The Forest Lakes II Mechanical Fuels Reduction Project is an approximately 170 acre hazard fuels mitigation project within the BLM wildland-urban interface zone. This project consists of hand-thinning and piling 45 acres of small-diameter ponderosa pine, and, thinning and removing ponderosa pine in an embedded timber sale on 125 acres within Unit B. This project is set aide for small business concerns. The solicitation for this project will only be made available through the Federal Business Opportunities website - www.fedbizopps.gov. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (17-JAN-2007).
