Description

FED BIZ OPPS NOTICE THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR A PROPOSAL. The VA Heartland Network 15 has a requirement for Ambulance Services during Cardiac Catheterization Procedures at the Robert Dole VA Medical Center, 5500 East Kellogg, Wichita, KS 67218. The Government intends to negotiate the requirement sole source with Sedgwick County Emergency Medical Services, 1015 W. Stillwell Street, Wichita, KS 67213. The sole source determination is based upon geographical and response time restrictions of the medical center in relation to nearest ambulance service with the available resources to meet the Government's needs. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 621910 with a Size Standard is $6.5 M. The acquisition is being conducted under FAR Part 12 and 15. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties are requested to review the requirements, and submit a statement of interest that must be submitted on or before September 27, 2006, 4:00 p.m. CST. The determination by the Government not to compete the contract based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government.
