- Provide all labor, material,transportation,equipment and supervision required to paint the Interior of United States Coast Guard Housing Units located at USCG Sector Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. A minimum of one coat of paint shall be applied throughout the Interior, to include surface preparation (i.e., cleaned, sanded, feathered, puttied and primed) Surface preparation shall also include the repair of damaged walls (i.e., splits, cracks, nail holes, chips, indentation and holes less than 6 inches in diameter). The complex consists of sixty (60) units of various dimensions, all units have Cathedral Ceilings.(Contractor shall provide the necessary equipment and supplies to required to complete the task i.e., appropriate ladders etc.,). Only a portion of the total number of housing units will be painted each year, generally upon tenants? departure of quarters, heavy transition usually occurs in April/May timeframe. The award will be Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Base plus four (4) Option Years to be exercised at the government?s discretion. Quotes will be due approximately 30 days from issuance of Request for Quotation (RFQ), the RFQ should be uploaded approximately 15 days after the posting of this Pre-Solicitation Notice. A Bid Bond IS NOT required. The estimated range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00 and is for the Base Year and Option Years in total. The NAICS Code is 23820, Size Standard is $13.0 mil. This procurement is a TOTAL SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS ONLY. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED OR WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATION OR POSTING STATUS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
