- Description
- Contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, transportation, and qualified supervision to install new air handling unit in an existing mechanical room in the Computer Building #21 as described with the construction drawings and specifications. The work will be performed in the computer building (#21) at the Veterans Medical Center located in Fayetteville NC. The building will be occupied during the hours of 8 am. until approximately 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Work will include the following items: Design and installation of new air handling unit. Fabricate new ductwork, and install new supply and return grilles. Install new electronic (DDC) controls to allow new equipment to run as a duplex system with existing air handling unit(s) and new in duct smoke detectors. Removal and replacement of three split unit ceiling mounted air conditioning units and respective condensing unit. Test and Balance new equipment. Work shall be completed within 90 days of the Notice to Proceed being issued. The NAICS code is 238220 with a small business size standard of $13 M. This procurement is 100% set-aside for SBA Certified Hub Zone Business. The cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation will be available for download at the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about March 30, 2007. Bidders are responsible for downloading any and all documents pertaining to this solicitation from the website. Paper solicitations will not be issued.
