Description

This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for a minor and major repair source for the low band traveling wave tube which is national stock number 5960-00-009-4381, part number 578R518H04, applicable to the ALQ-184 system. The Best Estimated Qty (BEQs) for the base year is 162. There with BEQ of 124 for out-year option I, 112 for Option II and 127 for option III. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only two sources, Communications and Power Industries Holding Corporation, Cage: 0MH33 and Teledyne MEC ,Cage: 11312 in accordance with FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified below for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition.
