- U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2 Albuquerque, New Mexico is requesting bids on solicitation number 201817B002 to rehabilitate eroded bank along intercoastal waterway. Work includes: Furnish all effort and materials to construct approximately 8800 feet of water break. Breakwater will have a shoreline slope of 1.5:1 and 1.5:1 side slope on GIWW channel side. The crown will have a width of 2 feet. Rock will be 18 inch graded rock placed to ensure no larger outcroppings occur. Top elevation of the breakwater will be +3.5 NAVD. Construction will be placed by barge. The project is located at McFaddin/Texas Point, Jefferson County, Sabine Pass, Texas. The estimated price magnitude is $500,000 to $1,000,000. The total performance period is expected to be 90 calendar days or less for this work. Bid evaluation will be on firm fixed price, low bid, to responsive and responsible contractor. The project is solicited unrestricted full and open competition. Both small and large businesses are invited to submit bids.
