Description
The FAA is seeking firms interested in providing Architect and Engineering (A&E) engineering support services nationally in support of the Terminal Program Operations Facilities Office. The services that are required consist of but are not limited to the following: update and maintain the national ATCT/TRACON standard design packages, conduct seismic and facility evaluations, design and implement selected mitigation modifications, terminal system support, facilities and airspace engineering, design and construction support, risk management and organizational and performance metrics. Services may also involve direct/on-site construction management and support services (to include detailed submittal and shop drawing reviews), audits of on going design and construction activities, and technical and professional creation support for new design/build activities in terminal. The FAA anticipates awarding an ID/IQ type contract with a 24 month base period and three 12 month option periods. Contract award is anticipated to be prior to the end of this fiscal year with the option exercise periods valid through FY 2012. Qualified vendors interested in participating in a competitive procurement are requested to provide statements of interest and capability by completing Part II only of the SF-330 and additional qualifying information relevant to the draft SOW, provided as attachments to this announcement. The SF-330 can also be downloaded by visiting the website at http://fast.faa.gov/docs/forms/form.html. Statements of capability must be received no later than 12 noon, Eastern Time, 3/23/07. Additional qualifying information should not exceed 10 pages in length and must address the following factors: A. Specialized Experience and Technical Competence B. Program Management C. Organization D. Capability and Capacity of Firm to Accomplish Work E. Past Performance The FAA will not use the information submitted to screen or down select. Rather, it will be used to determine the range of vendor interest and capability. This is not a request for offer and the Government will not pay expenses associated with responding to this announcement.
