Description
This synopsis is not a request for proposal. It is a market research tool being used to determine procurement strategy. Appropriate procurement strategy will be determined after consideration of industry response to this sources sought synopsis. The government is not obligated to, and will not, pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. The synopsis should include the specifications of the Proposed Sound System model proposed to include literature and technical manuals, no refurbished units will be acceptable. This should include the following items: 1. A statement of interest in providing the items contained herein. 2. A technical manual with descriptive information for alternate/substitute items to above proposed model if necessary 3. Company size, small, or large, HUBZone, 8(a), Service-disabled veteran-owned, SDB, Woman-Owned. 4. Contact information to include name, email address, phone number, and fax number along with federal tax id number, and DUNS number. Scope of work for RFP on Sound system for Zussman PC based audio system must have the following capability; Must have Universal PCI compatibility (3.3V ready). The clocking must be programmable from 8 to 48 KHz. The I/O capability must be 8 balanced analog mono inputs (4 mic/line) and 8 balanced analog mono outputs. Recording and play must be direct-to-disk Reco rd/Play. Must have Parametric EQs, compressor, expander, noise gate. There must be onboard processing options of MPEG I layers I and II mono and stereo encoding, MPEG II layers I and II mono and stereo decoding and mp3 decoding. Capable of sample rate conv ersion as Simultaneous playback of sound files at different frequencies and simultaneous conversion of audio inputs to sound files at different frequencies. This system including programming must be capable to send an audio file (mp3s) to each output. IE. 1 audio file to 1 output or to all the outputs. All outputs can have a separate file and all played at the same time. Software written to control the audio player, giving you the capability of volume control and control of playing the audio files from the pc. This system must be installed, operators trained on site at Ft. Knox, Zussman site located on the ranges at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
