- Description
- This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. There is no solicitation package available. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst is seeking Small Business sources that may be capable of producing a Differential Angle Protractor unit. The Differential Angle Protractor is used to measure Main Rotor Blade angles during Flight Control Rigging Check at sea. Movement of the aircraft while at sea precludes the use of a conventional protractor to obtain the measurements accurately. In addition, the unit will be required to be designed to minimize or eliminate susceptibility to corrosion in a salt environment. NAICS code 334519 applies. The United States Navy is investigating the feasibility of procuring this requirement through a capable Small Business and therefore all interested parties should send company's capability and/or descriptive literature, as well business experience in providing a similar product, similarity of environment and past performance, which should identify contracts and/or subcontracts awarded for identical or similar units. Information listed may include units delivered to the Federal Government, agencies of state and local governments, and commercial customers. Send response, literature and/or any comments or questions to Nancy Delaney, e-mail: Nancy.Delaney@navy.mil, fax: (732) 323-2359 or address: Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Contracts, Code 25221ND, B562-3, Hwy 547, Lakehurst, NJ 08733-5082. All responses should be received no later than 4:00 PM EST, 22 March 2007. All questions and comments must be in writing, no telephone calls, email is acceptable. All contractors seeking award must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. For CCR information, contact the CCR Registration Assistance Center (RAC), at 888-227-2423 or for CCR registration at: http://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this request, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any costs incurred in developing the information provided to the Government.
