Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required item under V55105-7030-0086. A subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. FISC Norfolk intends to purchase the following: (1) Shave Stand Assembly. Length 6.0625? Width 21.1667? Height 76?. 150 pounds (approximately), 115 volts, AC, 60 HZ Each bare base shave stand consists of a base unit with 3 sinks, a mirror back with 3 mirror surfaces with electric light and 115 VAC outlet, a wiring harness to connect the shave stand to a local/bare base power source, arid hoses to connect the shave stand plumbing to local/bare base water supply and drain sources.. The shave stands are configured around the bare base shower facility in a temper tent. The shave stand base assembly consists of a stainless steel cabinet provided with 3 sink/faucet stations, mounting sockets for the mirror support assembly, removable legs, and handles for ease of movement. The sinks are of stainless steel with a single on/off faucet, and are equipped with lever-type connections for supply/drain hoses. Straps are provided on the underside of the base assembly for the storage of legs during shipment and storage. The mirror support assembly is a stainless steel unit with 2 legs, which slide into sockets on the back of the shave stand base assembly. Each support assembly is equipped with 3 polished stainless steel mirrors and 3 electric light/outlet assemblies. Units manufactured by Highland Engineering, Inc. have removable light assemblies. Shave stand assembly supply and drain hoses are connected to each other grid to local/bare base water sources by hoses fitted with lever-type connector, Supply hoses are 1 inch and drain hoses 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Standard "Y" connectors are provided to connect hoses to bare base shower facility supply/drain hoses. Electrical wiring harnesses with ground fault protection circuits on later models are provided to connect the shave stand electric light/outlet assemblies to local/bare base power sources. 2 Each.
