- Description
- The Technical Support Working Group (TSWG), Arlington, VA, is soliciting concepts for innovative research and development projects. The mission areas are: Blast Effects and Mitigation (BX), Concept Development (CD), Explosives Detection (ED), Explosive Ordnance Disposal/Low-Intensity Conflict (EL), Improvised Device Defeat (IDD), Irregular Warfare Support (IWS), Tactical Operations Support (TOS), and VIP Protection (VIP). The Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) package and instructions will be available only from the BAA Information Systems (BIDS) website at http://www.bids.tswg.gov. The BAA process constitutes a solicitation of concepts from those Offerors capable of satisfying the Government's needs. The Government encourages non-profit organizations, educational institutions, small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, government laboratories, Historically Black Colleges/Universities and Minority Institutions (HBCU/MIs), and foreign contractors, as well as large businesses, to submit research concepts for consideration. The BAA selection process will be conducted in two (2) phases. The package describes the full process for submission and evaluation as well as specific requirements for the mission areas.
