Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is FA481407B01CB and is a Request For Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-09. This procurement falls under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) classification 711510 (size standard $6,500,000). The Government intends to issue a Purchase Order (PO) for the following: Line Item 0001: Air Show Announcer for MacDill AFB Air Fest 2007. Includes one night show on 30 March, and 2 day shows on 31 March and 1 April. Statement of Work: Air Fest 2007 Announcer 1. Scope of Work. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision and other items to provide Air show announcing services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this SOW. 1.2 Contractor. The contractor hereby aggress to provide air show announcing services at MacDill AFB, AIRFEST 2007 within the limitations as defined by the Air show Director and Air/Ground Coordinator (Airboss). 1.3 Performance. Contractor shall provide air show announcer service for one practice show (Friday 30 Mar 07), one night show (Friday 30 mar) and two day show (Saturday and Sunday (31 Mar & 1 Apr 07). 1.4 Compensation. The Government hereby agrees to compensate the Contractor at the date specified. Advance payment is not authorized, nor will the Government pay a deposit. This agreement is in full force rain or shine. If the Contractor is on site and ready to perform, but cannot perform due to circumstances outside of his/her control the Contractor will be paid 100% of the performance fee. If the Contractor is physically unable to perform and cannot perform for any reason, other than stated above, 100% of the fee or a percentage portion commensurate with the amount of specified number of air show days not performed will not be paid. 1.4.1 Donation. Based on Air Force policy the contractor shall not solicit donations as additional compensation from the public on an Air Force Installation. Only those air show supporters will be mentioned by the announcer. A list of air show supporters will be provided prior to the beginning of the air show. 1.5 Air show. The MacDill AFB, AIRFEST 2007 shall start on 30 mar 2007 and continue through 1 April 2007. Contractor will arrive at least one day in advance, on 29 Mar 2007 to help with local promotions and media support. 1.6 Contractors Liability Insurance. The Contractor declares that they will maintain personal liability insurance. 1.7 Lodging. The Contractor will not include a fee for lodging, one non-smoking room will be provided by MacDill AFB. 1.8 Transportation. The Contractor will not include a fee for ground transportation; MacDill AFB will provide one automobile upon arrival and for the duration of the MacDill AFB AIRFEST 2007. 1.9 Public Address system. The Government will provide a complete Public address system, to include microphone and radio communication to air show control. Emergency Procedures: The Government will provide the announcer with complete emergency procedures and briefing on the announcer?s role and duties in the event of an onsite or offsite mishap. Service shall be performed at the MacDill AFB FL, 33621. Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The following addendum is provided to this provision: Request for Quotation should be submitted and shall contain the following information: SOLICITATION NUMBER; NAME; ADDRESS; TELEPHONE NUMBER OF OFFEROR; PRICE, ANY DISCOUNT TERMS AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ALL SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS. Quotes must indicate quantity, unit price and total amount. Offerors that fail to furnish the required information, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration. EVALUATION/AWARD: Award will be made to lowest offer that is technically acceptable. All offerors MUST BE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTERED (CCR).
