Description

The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Navcom Technology, Inc., Torrance, CA under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is to purchase one (1) NCT-2050M RTG & RTK receiver and one (1) NCT-2040G RTG & RTK receiver. The Navcom receiver will enable The Fleet Survey Team to perform within the vertical accuracy requirements for IHO Order 1 surveys in depths greater than 50 meters and all depth ranges for Order 2 surveys. The receivers must be the same form, fit, and function as NCT receivers currently aboard all other NAVOCEANO platforms. This action will be conducted in accordance with FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The resulting contract will be firm fixed-price. NAICS Code 334220 and Business Size of 750 employees apply. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
