Description
The Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), PG-13 Infantry Weapons Systems (IWS), Optics and Non-Lethal Systems (ONS), intends to procure optomechanics and optics laboratory equipment. The E-OTF needs additional laboratory optomechanics and optical laboratory equipment to satisfy operational requirements of the facility. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation applicable to this procurement is attached. The solicitation number for this procurement is M67854-07-Q-1066 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2005-12, Effective 04 Aug 2006. This procurement is unrestricted. All contractors who provide goods/services to the DoD must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR). O nline Certifications and Representations at (ORCA), http://orca.bpn.gov, will also be required. Failure to comply with ORCA registration may make a vendor offeror ineligible for award. All questions regarding this requirement must be submitted to Stasia Baker at stasia.baker@usmc.mil no later than March 14, 2007 at 12:00pm local time. Responses for all questions will be provided by 12:00pm, local time, March 15, 2007. Late questions will not be answered. All offers are due no later than 4:00pm local time on March 20, 2007. All documents should be submitted to Stasia Baker, Contract Specialist, Marine Corps Systems Command at stasia.baker@usmc.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open basis is solely within the discretion of the Government. NO TELEPHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
